Ama (あま市 Ama-shi ) is a city located in Aichi, Japan.
On March 22, 2010 the neighboring towns of Shippō, Miwa and Jimokuji from Ama District merged to form Ama.[1]
After merger the city had a population of 86,103. The total area is 27.59 km².
